What is spring assist?
Spring assist is a feature that involves the use of a torsion spring which is manufactured to work for a minimum of 15,000 cycles, making the opening and closing of a door smoother and easier. It helps reduce the strain on the motor and increases the warranty on the motor as the spring absorbs the torque. Additionally, it allows for manual operation through a key release and makes it simpler to operate the door by hand.
